On Monday night, the most important school board election event is taking place in Costa Mesa. It’s called, “Toes to the Stove,” and it was almost singlehandedly organized by Newport-Mesa’s Sandy Asper.

“Toes” is an excellent opportunity to see and hear the challengers for the four school board seats in the only forum that is truly non-partisan, as you will see by the panelists, moderator, and style.

  • At Toes, there will be free-range discussions, not just Q&A.
  • At Toes, there will be questions from the audience – nothing screened ahead of time.
  • At Toes, the panelists and moderator are known for their involvement, intelligence, and good character.
  • Event is being filmed professionally by Costa Mesa Brief
  • At Toes, there will be music and pizza!
