Chuck Hinman is leaving. Supt, Navarro has determined that his departure is a good time to, “…review the needs of the district and ask if our current structure is the most effective and efficient in supporting the work done in our schools.” (Daily Pilot, 1/12/15)

I agree – great idea. Review everything, top to bottom. And here is the one thing he can do to learn what really needs fixing: Speak to teachers without anyone else present and ask them what needs to be fixed and assure them that any critical comments will not result in retaliation of any kind.

If he does only that, he will save a lot of time and resources and get the most honest review he could possibly get.
