I started this blog because I became a candidate for a seat on the school board in Area 1. But I also started it to fill a communications void. It seems to me that we aren’t discussing school issues nearly as often or as openly as we should. Even more important, we’re not discussing them to the depth they deserve and there is far too much focus on treating symptoms instead of problems.
Yes, I want your vote, and I will work to deserve your vote. But it would give me great satisfaction to know that together, we have created an unprecedented level of communication that will be preserved long after the election.
And that is why you should tell your friends, family and co-workers about this blog.
